This medication is a sublingual troche containing a combination of the medications, Sildenafil and Testosterone.

Sildenafil is categorized as a Selective Phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. It is a vasoactive agent that is commonly prescribed to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence) in men, as well as reduce symptoms in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Sildenafil increases blood flow to particular areas of the body, including the penis, by decreasing vascular resistance and causing relaxation of the muscles.

Sildenafil was the first PDE5 inhibitor to arrive on the market in 1998. The effects of sildenafil last for approximately four hours, and patients should be instructed to use no more than one dose within 24 hours.
