Clomiphene Citrate/Anastrozole capsule

This capsule contains a combination of the medications Clomiphene Citrate and Anastrozole.

Clomiphene Citrate (Clomid) is a Selective Estrogen Receptor Modifier (SERM), prescribed to inhibit the effects of estrogen and increase production of testosterone in males. It may also be used to treat side effects of elevated estrogen, such as gynecomastia and water retention. This is also prescribed to improve ovulation in females, which will increase chances of pregnancy. An oral, competitive, non-steroidal inhibitor of aromatase (the enzyme that catalyzes the final step in estrogen production). This medication is commonly prescribed for excessive estrogen production and the reduction of serum Estradiol levels in men.

Anastrozole is an oral, competitive, non-steroidal inhibitor of aromatase; which is the enzyme that converts testosterone to estrogen and catalyzes the final step in estrogen production. This medication is commonly prescribed for excessive estrogen production and the suppression of serum Estradiol levels in men. This suppression may also help improve symptoms of elevated estradiol such as nipple sensitivity, fluid retention, and decreased libido.
