Tamoxifen is a Selective Estrogen-Receptor Modifier (SERM), which has both estrogenic AND anti-estrogenic effects on various tissues in the body. It is chemically related to another antiestrogen, clomiphene (see Clomiphene Citrate). Tamoxifen is commonly prescribed to block the effects of estrogen, and can be used in the treatment of breast cancer. Take orally with water.
