Omnitrope is a brand-name version of the medication, Somatropin. This medication is typically used to treat patients (adult or pediatric) who have been diagnosed with a growth hormone (GH) deficiency. It may also be prescribed to treat Turner Syndrome, idiopathic short stature, SHOX deficiency, and failure to catch up in height after being small for gestational age birth. Bacteriostatic water and mixing syringe will arrive with medication for reconstitution. Syringes and needles for injection ordered separately.
